Join the Penn State Alumni Association Greater Pittsburgh Chapter on April 28 at 7pm EST (4pm PST) at our virtual wine tasting fundraiser event with Eberle Winery and Gary Eberle that support our FastStart Program Endowment.

Who is Gary Eberle?
Gary Eberle is a Penn State Alumnus that played on the Penn State Football Team. He is native to the Pittsburgh area. Gary Eberle currently owns and operates Eberle Winery in Paso Robles California. He was awarded the American Legend Wine Star Award from the Wine Enthusiast in 2020 and is often called the Godfather of Paso Robles
What's the Fast Start Endowment? We're so glad you asked!
FastStart is a mentoring program that helps first-year students from under-represented backgrounds, as well as those students who simply want to get their college careers off to a "fast start". Students are matched with both a faculty/staff mentor and a Penn State Alumni mentor that help them flourish in their new environment by answering questions, directing them to resources, offering support and wisdom, and providing informal networks for career development.
The Greater Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter is first to establish an endowment for this critical program, guaranteeing that future generations of Penn Staters will get the resources they need to make us - and themselves – proud.
