We’re always welcoming new volunteers to join us in the fight For The Kids! We meet monthly from July through April, both in person and virtually, but if you aren’t local to Pittsburgh almost any position or responsibility can be done completely virtually. Social Media Director
Do you work or have experience in marketing, promotion, or social media management? We’re in need of a creative, goal-oriented person to run our social media accounts, creating engaging and informative content consistent with our brand and mission that will positively impact the Ball at every level. Primary goals would be to grow our online community, increase donor/sponsor support, attract new volunteers, and promote successful small events.
Small Events Coordinator
We typically hold a series of small events and fundraisers throughout the year to support the Ball, and we would love to have a dedicated Small Events Coordinator to organize them. Small Event examples would be “dine & donate” nights at local restaurants, online sales with a donation kickback to THON/the Ball, football game watches, raffles, etc. The ideal Coordinator would be someone who’s well-organized, a self-starter with great collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently.
If you aren’t interested in a specific role, consider joining the team in a more general role where you can share ideas and help however we need it! If you’re organized, motivated, & detail oriented and have excellent verbal & written communication skills across diverse populations you’d be a perfect fit.
