WE ARE excited to invite you to a Holiday Happy Ho WE ARE excited to invite you to a Holiday Happy Hour on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at The Sly Fox at The Highline! Join us from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM to celebrate the season and enjoy a cash bar, complementary appetizers, and plenty of holiday cheer. Our local campus, Penn State Greater Allegheny, has a long-standing commitment to ensure its students are food secure and able to meet basic needs, and one way they do that is through their on-campus food pantry. In lieu of a registration fee, we're asking everyone to bring a donation to support this crucial resource. Some of the most needed items are: - Single serving microwavable rice, pasta, mashed potatoes - Pasta sauce - Canned soups, Tuna, Chicken (cans or pouches) - Cereal/cereal bars/oatmeal - Peanut butter & Jelly - Microwaveable vegan/vegetarian protein bowls - Snacks (rice crips, veggie straws, popcorn, pretzels, chips, crackers etc.) - Laundry detergent/dryer sheets - Personal Care Items (Shampoo/Conditioner, soap/body wash, toothpaste, tooth brush, lotion, etc.) - Period Products - Wal-Mart/Giant Eagle Gift Cards Please join us in supporting our local students during the holiday season! If you have not picked up your Grist House PSU Game Day Crew items, please pick them up during regular business hours. The bartenders will have a list with your name, item and size. Show your receipt (in your email from the day you purchased) to the bartender and they will be able to give you your items. You do not have to wait until the next scheduled Penn State game to pick up your merchandise.

It was great hanging out with everyone and the Nittany Lion. Congrats to our backpack cooler raffle winner Kevin. The raffle allowed us to make another donation to our Franco Harris Memorial FastStart Endowment. We won't have a table at Grist House this week as PSU Football takes on UCLA, but they are still our official place to go to watch a PSU game.

We raised $250 and collected a large number of school supplies for The Education Partnership. It was great to see a lot of new and returning faces to our event. We also had alumni from several different universities. Keep an eye out for future Penn State Alumni Association Greater Pittsburgh Chapter events coming soon.

They are the Penn State Alumni Association Greater Pittsburgh Chapter official game watch location and an amazing place to watch a Penn State game. It was a day filled with sun, fun, clouds, rain, a rain delay that went on forever and most importantly a PSU win. WE ARE also so happy to see so many of you have joined the Grist House PSU Game Day Crew. The glasses turned out great. A portion of each membership results in a donation to the Franco Harris Memorial FastStart Endowment. We can't wait to see everyone for more games this season.

There were so many Penn Staters decked out in PSU gear and wearing the special Penn State Pirates hats. We completely sold out of our block of tickets which we have never done before. From that alone we raised $1,600 to donate to @pennstatethon! Also want to extend a big THANK YOU to @pjc4pennstate, CEO of @pennstatealums for representing us by throwing out the honorary first pitch to the @pirate_parrot and throwing a great pitch too!
